Lovely Chaos — Local services in Coeur d'Alene

My son and I went in there after being at Midtown and he found some straps that he was so excited about to use for his Nerf guns! He paid for them with his own money and was so happy when we got home and they fit for what he wanted them for! He played for about an hour and one of the straps clasp literally broke right in half! He was so bummed so I looked at the receipt and I read it as you could only return clothes for a refund but could return other items within 30 days for a store credit?!? So we go in and wait in line, get asked if we needed help I said oh we are just returning something.....she said oh ok so we proceeded to wait in line and then we get up to the counter and tell her the situation. She then yells across the store to ask if we could return them and she said no. Why they couldn't tell us that while we were waiting in line is beyond me. I said well the receipt says store credit within 30 days?? She says no sorry.....ok so my son who pent his own money cant return or exchange for one that isn't broken!?! She says nope I am sorry not our problem. The look on my sons face was devastating! He say what am I supposed to do with a broken strap??? She says not sure maybe throw it away!!! I was beyond appalled! Needless to say we will never shop in...

This is the cutest, sweetest, little shop. It has such unique merchandise. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the kind gal. She certainly brightens your day. Everything is the shop is very earthy and calming. Everything is made with such quality. Just feel right at home as soon as you walk in. Despite being in the store today before 4PM and told they were going to close soon. We finished with clothes ready to be purchased we were told that they were closed and we could not be rung up. I couldn’t recommend this place less. I’m embarrassed to have taken an out of town guest to CDA...
