I had a poor experience with their ship to store service. First, Staples failed to notify me when my merchandise arrived, as my purchase confirmation said they would. I had to call to see when if my computer arrived. Them, I had to wait again 20 minutes for the manager (apparently the only employee allowed into the back room) to be free to bring my already paid for computer to the front of the store. I stood and watched employees wait on other customers who arrived after me, or just stand there idle. I asked multiple times to be waited upon. Their excuse was that they were "busy". I am incredibly grateful to Staples for their outstanding support and generosity in helping a local charity organization with a recent printing job. Not only was the work done quickly and with excellent quality, but Staples went above and beyond by donating the entire print job at no cost to us.

Employee "John" at the Amazon return counter today provided bizarre service. He was breathing heavily and leaning over the counter as if he were having a medical event. At first, I was genuinely concerned something was wrong and when it was my turn, I asked him if he was ok or needed me to call for help or 911. He then proceeded to complain that he was just exhausted from having to help so many people for a full 8 hours today. He was rude to the gentleman in front of me and threw his packages around like he was angry and yelling that he couldnt find a box big enough. I worked customer service for years and likely would have been fired if my manager witnessed this type...
