This is a place to love. I have got two pairs of slippers over the years. Totally washable in the washer and I dry them in the dryer. The way they are made, they don't shrink. During the tanning they don't stretch the leather like most leather is done. That is why so much leather shrink. The inserts are also washable and they do sell the inserts too, so you can buy new inserts and not have to buy new slippers. The new inserts make them feel like new again. So So comfortable. I didn't care for slippers until I got these sheepskin slippers. They are amazing; warm in the winter and not hot during the summer. My wife got her purse there and loves it. That is the only purse see uses she loves it so much. They even did a minor repair to her purse after 6 years of owning the purse, and they didn't charge anything. That shows how much she loves that purse. I also got my wallet there. They are so nice to talk to. They will answer all your questions, even if it's not about the shop or leather. So if you are in CDA for a short time stop by and talk. The website is helpful too. That is how I get my inserts. Hand made leather goods are so costly, and their prices are fare. This review has nothing to do with their products. The leather work is great. My wife and I were in here with our kids and they were not running around, being obnoxious, or touching anything. They were just looking at themselves in a mirror. The man working the counter asked for the kids to back up from the mirror. My wife politely asked the kids to back up and apologized to the man working. His resonse was "ya I am sure you are not sorry. You cant be serious. Your kids are ridiculous." I immediately tossed down the items I was about to purchase and we left. Never been treated so poorly in a shop. My wife who is a very genuine kind and caring woman was basically called a liar and my kids insulted too. Was very excited to order my wife a pair of their slippers for a Christms present, but now will never go in that shop again and I hope others will also find other places to spend money...

I have been looking for a specific type and size if purse for a while. Nothing I coild find was measuring up or was priced higher than a plane ticket to Hawaii! While visiting CDA with my daughter, we wandered into this shop and I found the type of purse I was looking for, but not in a color I would choose. We talked to Liz (I think she is the owner?). She showed me several different shades of leather that I could choose from, and said she could make it and ship it to me if I didn't have time to wait while in town.
