Trudy's Hallmark — Local services in Coeur d'Alene

Its Jan 9, 2025 and I had a really fun experience today. I went there with my family to browse around their sale items and look at their specialty soap. I found several darling Christmas sale items that were 75% off and the saleswoman let me use my coupon as well, so I spent less than $5 on several very cute Christmas decor items. The store was clean and bright, as always, and I had a lot of fun looking around. I've loved Hallmark stores since I was a little girl and this store is a fun place to visit either for casual browsing or to look for a high quality gift. Their seasonal displays are always exceptionally well done with lots of pretty, unique items to choose from.

So this is an updated review. It's April 21, 2025. There is a Lady that works here who is SUPER friendly! She's about 5 foot 10 with dark brown hair and she's in her late 30's , I think. Anyway, any time I have ever come in here and she was working, she made my day. She always has a smile. She's always cheerful and she knows all about the sales and products. She's a genuinely friendly person and a real pleasure to talk to. I didn't get her name, unfortunately, but she rang up my purchases around 10 AM...

The woman helping me was mildly rude, dismissive and perfunctory in the search for a ‘to pastor’ card and a ‘to my new bride’ card, neither of which she said they had—and finally informed me they were also out of blank cards! At Hallmark??

The rite aid greeting card section is as good or better....
