If I could give Adir 1,000 stars I would. I want to leave a thorough review, so patrons know what to expect:
Communication: Adir has excellent communication. He contacted us days before our stay with the check in information and Wi-Fi passcode as well as all other pertinent information. He texted us the day we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. He also checked in periodically although the cabin had everything we needed.
Cabin: We had no idea the cabin was situated in a golf community resort. The resort is very beautiful. We were initially apprehensive because the cabin was attached to another cabin so we thought maybe we had to share a space. That was NOT the case. The cabin is HUGE and still felt very private. The cabin is just perfect and far surpassed all expectations. Check-in was as easy as it gets. We were greeted with a spectacularly clean unit fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We’ve stayed before in cabins where the basic toiletries were not included. You can expect spa style soap, conditioner, shampoo, toilet paper towels, clean toilets with the sanitation paper still on, wonderful towels and wash cloths and water pressure to DIE for. I felt like I was in a high-pressure massage shower the entire time. Everything was spotless. Plenty of comforters, blankets, and pillows. The beds are firm, which was good for me, but something to note for other who prefer a super soft bed. There were tons of places to escape. There were three levels to this cabin. The top level has a huge master bedroom. Right outside the door is a cute loft and daybed. This is the PERFECT set up for a family. My daughter had that room to herself so we could have the entire main and lower level to ourselves. I often crashed on the daybed to make sure I could hear her in the morning. The main level has a gas fireplace and SUPER comfy chairs. The fireplace puts off heat on a frigid night. The dining area is spacious, and all of the appliances work fantastically. There is a bathroom on every level which is super awesome. Washer and dryer are on the main floor and they both work great. The entire downstairs is a whole other apartment, there is even a fridge and microwave down there and a very cool video game machine that has hundreds of games you can play for free (my husband and I loved playing Pac Man!) The hot tub was spotless although we didn’t use it. There are three balconies that allow you to get fresh air. Whether you have 3 guest or more there is PLENTY of room!
Over-all experience: Unlike some property owners, Adir didn’t bombard us with a million rules and regulations. While I understand why that is necessary, we felt as if we were meant to enjoy our stay and were treated like adults. We are a small family of three, so it was nice not to be met with a laundry list of to-dos although we made sure to respect the cabin and make sure it was left in the exact state, we found it. The overall experience was fantastic. After trying out probably 25-30 cabins in Gatlinburg over the past few years, we won’t be staying any other place. Everything we...
Read moreThe reservation process was without flaws and the staff was ready and willing to answer the many questions that surfaced during the time between booking and actual arriving at the property. The home itself is lovely and strategically located for beautiful views of the red rocks and evening sunsets which we could watch from the backyard terrace, which also looks over the pool and spa. The perfect spot for an evening glass of wine.
There were a few things we noticed on arrival that needed tending to but a message to the management company (Mighty Tree Properties) prompted immediately attention to the problems - a number of non-functioning light bulbs, entry walkway, overhead porch light (Things the daylight weekly cleaning staff might not have noticed), spa heater not working and Keurig machine kaput. A new Keurig was brought that evening along with a couple bottles of wine in apology and the heater fixed next morning.
I have suggested the owner and company supply a floor plan which would make the assignment of rooms and location of shared bathrooms much easier to figure out. I would have tried to avoid having two 60-ish couples sharing a bathroom and putting them on the wing furthest from the garage/game room where the noisier third generation got together late into the night. They self-assigned though since they arrived before my husband and I did and coped magnificently since one couple is early-risers and the other not.
The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. In the bathrooms there are two extra, large rolls of toilet paper, gel and shampoo and a hair dryer. Whatever else one needs, one should take along.
There is a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer and another set in the large master bedroom closet.
The Safeway store is close by and there are many fine places to eat. Mighty Tree recommended a couple of catering companies when I asked about having a celebration dinner for 90th, 85th and 60th birthdays. I took their recommendation, chose one (Messina Culinary) and they provided a delicious sit-down meal after wine and appetizer on the terrace.
The kitchen is open to a sitting area with fireplace and TV screen where we congregated when not on the terrace or in the converted garage that has a ping pong table, pool table and foosball machine.
I reported one broken wine glass but that was forgiven. A different problem about soot in the chimney of the formal living room was reported by the cleaning crew when we left but when our family members from four different time zones reported not using any fireplace except the one outdoors next to the spa and using wood we had purchased, that problem was resolved amicably.
So - in conclusion: a beautiful property, gorgeous location and a management company that could not have been...
Read moreWe stayed at one of their properties in Asheville, NC. The nextdoor neighbor took a tool and scratched TWO of our cars leaving permanent damage (estimate to fix one of the cars was 25k). We have tried working with Mighty Tree Properties to get help and get their insurance to help cover the damage that was done to our two cars and they have done absolutely NOTHING to help us or even sympathize with us. Their properties might be nice but if something goes wrong during your visit, do not expect any help. Would never recommend.
Edited to acknowledge response
Forgot to add that we filed police reports & spoke with the owner of the property and he lied to us saying he was going to help us and to help get our cars fixed. Everytime we reached out to him after the initial phone call where he stated he would help us, he never responded and completely ignored us. We understand "there is no proof" (even though the neighbor yelled profanity at us while walking into the rental home all because we had to park a car on the street because it did not fit in the driveway) but with only three homes on the secluded street of your property, all signs point to your neighbor who cursed at us being the ones who destroyed our cars.
Also forgot to add that we immediately informed Mighty Tree Properties of this incident of the neighbors yelling at us and told them we didn't feel safe after it and MTP did absolutely nothing about it. If anything, MTP probably made it worse by acting as a "middle man". Horrendous...
