Bold Off-Road — Local services in Coggon

I took my bike to Bold Off-Road in Coggon and unfortunately had repeated bad experiences.

The first time, both fork seals were still leaking after the repair, and when I got home one of the caliper bolts had fallen off in my truck bed and the other was loose. I gave them another chance — they replaced the seals again with OEM parts, and I had them replace the chain and sprockets but both seals still leaked. When I picked up my bike, the worker stopped me to check the rear axle bolt and found it was loose too, along with the rear brake not being tightened properly.

On top of that, they had my bike for over 3 months the first time just to change the seals and tune the carb. After two failed attempts and multiple safety issues, I decided I couldn’t trust their work anymore.

Instead of taking accountability, the owner made multiple false claims about me publicly — saying I don’t have a business license, don’t pay taxes, and run out of a garage — all completely untrue and defamatory. I run a fully registered, insured, and tax-paying business with hundreds of happy customers and documented proof.

I left my review to share my actual experience, not to start drama. It’s unfortunate that rather than fixing the issue professionally, they chose to post false statements and personal attacks online. Ill be sending a cease and desist letter soon since leaving a honesty one star review results in defamatory false statement...

This business is truly the best! They got us in and out! Their service is very reasonably priced and would recommend them to everyone!! They installed a heater in our 2022 General xp4 and let me tell you what, it looks nice and gets HOT in the cab! In this -9 feels like -32, I am a person who is always cold! In the end I believe they did a good job repairing my sportsman. The only negative I have to say is I called to schedule an appointment and they said they were a week and a half out on service. Gave me a day to drop it off so they could put it inside and get right at it. I dropped it off and it was parked outside for at least another week and a half before they got it in to assess.
