Dollar General — Local services in Coleman

Unfriendly,unhelpful & unknowledgeable(&usually just downright rude) ALL mgrs&employees except4 store mgr! They want2 discriminate,lock the doors 9mins "prior to closing"(not allowing entry), or if inside shopping will continually yell out the time but never asked"once" if they could be of any assistance. On many many occasions,discovered after shopping, that food items were either already expired or only 1-2 days away from expiring. Then when tryin2 exchange out 4 exact same,but fresh item,I would be given grief&told, I "Had2have" my PAPER receipt,digital not allowed(then why have it& it shows the date),&they(more than1) stated, they would "HAVE2" do it as a return, refund[ex.$3/2.50sale-.67(5 off 25)= 1.83] & then they want me2pay 1.17 for the fresh1 because it's" NOW" no longer on sale(plum crazy) or "my favorite " CONTINUALLY told2me, I would have2 comeback&see the store mgr, there was nothing else they could do. These people are ignorant &poorly trained! After speaking many many times with store mgr & eventually multiple times with dist mgr,even after both apologizing,these problems are still continuing2 exist, 7/21/18. Since people cannot do their job,there's been no positive change4 the good& I'm sick& tired of "continually" being discriminated against, I've finally decided...

I went there with my mother, the cashier MICHAELIA helped us.
