This is the higher side of a 4.5 star review. I live about 4 miles away so it's convenient to drive there opposed to anywhere else. Everyone there is professional, courteous and will help no questions asked at anytime and that's wonderful. My higher 4.5 comes into play on pricing. Don't get me wrong, some are competitive but there's a few that can be better. For instance, I tend to buy peanut clusters as a means of a healthy sweet tooth. I'd rather buy something made from in-house in support to the store opposed to factory. They had this but it was cheaper to buy the factory made item for roughly the same amount. If adjustments were made like that to work in the stores favor this be a 5. Also I prefer to buy meat there opposed to walmart. I know how walmart works in their meat department and I'll just leave it at, it's not fresh. To me it's about volume leaving the store not higher cost for everyday simple and in-store items. After all, volume leaving means fresher items, more support to the store and happier customers. There's nothing...
Read moreMan I just love this little grocery store. Start with the meat. Fresh, cut to order. Reasonable prices. The specials are usually really special. They have hot food and a cold hot food to take home. This is not a Super Walmart. The produce is limited but what is there is well presented and fresh. The standard items are all there with quite a few of more interesting fare. Get this: the employees all like to be there, or fake it well. The butchers are good at what they do and have a fun atmosphere going on behind the counter. The service is fast and professional. The place is clean and smells good. The meat is awesome. The meat is top shelf! Did I mention the meat? Worth a few extra minutes of travel time. Some little grocery stores try really hard but just kind of miss the mark. Buzz's did not. They put quality and affordability together seamlessly and make full service look easy. ( They answer questions at the butcher case and even cut soup bones for the puppies.) Well...
Read moreThe thing I like about this store is there hot food items for lunch. We've been working in this area on a power station for about a year now and their hot food bars really good. They have champ's chicken here, and you can get chicken strip meals and have sides like mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans or macaroni and cheese. Then on certain days they have specialty items like for example, on Tuesdays are smoked chicken quarters, and I believe on Wednesday is smoked hamburgers. It is really good. Also they have a meal card so if you come in and have so many meals they punch your card and then when you get to the end of the card you get a free meal. The staff here is local...
