The pep are very nice and are always helpful. It is most likely you will run into someone you know there! Its a great asset to our area with great food, good friends, and the basics to purchase right here local instead of spending $ at dollar general or driving all the way to town. I do recommend the Shrimp Poboy. My fiance would recommend the Bacon Chz Burger. They both are large portioned meals. Also SNOWBALL STAND is next door with no one waiting in line! You can sit at tables inside or outside. It is like a tiny grocery packed into this lil spot at a busy 4way stop sign. Stop in for food or watch for the tag sales outside- or jus run in for a cold drink and candy bar! Jus do it before 6! Not sure but they close at 6 or 7 (too early) but they do open early and serv breakfast. They are always upgrading such as jus added a soft serv ice cream machine! THAT’S BIG NEWS ROUND HERE! I've lived about 2 miles down the road from John Earl's for almost my entire life. It has always been the go to place for pretty much anything you need around here, and we have always loved it along the people who run it! However, it is simply outstanding now! The upgrades and changes have been wonderful! I would certainly think that John Earl Parker would be very proud! 👏

The only thing that needs improvement is the wait times for food orders and often even the check out time. Otherwise, keep up...

Cool place, gotta remember where it is cause we just moved here but great for gas and odd items we might need in a pinch without trips to town. Good folks running it. Even has good dog and cat and puppy food in case ya up and run out and need a bag. Treats, ice cream, tools, even chainsaw files. Pretty awesome like a Walmart crammed into one lil station.
