I purchased a 2001 Expedition 3/14 and not even 2 weeks it broke down on me. The fumes which smelled like gas almost killed me literally I checked into the hospital because i have pulmonary and heart issues due to the pain from inhaling the smell trying to get the car to safe keepings. I was informed by the owner that because it was an AS IS SELL. I was not covered and it was out of his hands. The car ran fine for less than 1 week then all havoc came about. I don't understand why this is ok to a person but i have contacted the authorities and the DMV with an attorney generals office for the lemon law i am protected because this is a purchase from a dealership not a sole owner thank God but it will be a process that i did not need. very unfair..
