My partner and I had a great stay in the Trailblazer tent at Columbia Mountain Ranch! The ranch is well-located between Glacier National Park and Kalispell/Whitefish— we couldn’t have asked for a better location.
The lodging itself was wonderful. The tent was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and furnished, and had a super comfortable king bed perfect to sink into after a long day of hiking. It’s worth noting that the tents are neither totally bug proof nor soundproof, but that wasn’t really an issue.
The community building was also great. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Our only issue was that the shower temperature fluctuated if many people were showering at once. There’s a full, well-stocked kitchen available for use, with a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cookware, and dishes. WiFi was strong both in the tent and the community building. I took several video calls and had no issues. There is also laundry available.
We also are so grateful to our hosts. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and they were easy to access by text at all hours. They truly made me feel so welcome and are a huge reason I’d recommend Columbia Mountain Ranch to anyone...

You are not far from the town of Columbia Falls for food, gas. But you feel like you are in the Montana wilderness. ||Cabins are perfect. They have a kitchenette with microwaves, electric skillet, crockpot, and water jug. You can also cook in the communal kitchen. We did burgers one evening on the Traeger grills, then spaghetti using our skillets and stove. Beds are clean and comfortable!||Other amenities were the campfire, Cornhole set, and pond with paddle boards. Kids were entertained the entire time! ||John was so friendly and helpful. He grabbed our garbage as needed, replaced water jugs and made sure all the bathroom towels were laundered each evening. We loved visiting with him each day. ||We stayed at the Willow cabin which is farthest from the bathroom but still a 2 minute walk. ||Zero complaints. If you are a camper, you'll feel like this is so easy compared to tents. And even if you're not, you'll enjoy the cabins, views and...
