Dollar General — Local services in Columbia

Vary sad. They can't seem to get anyone checked out. Why they took the good check out out that had the belt they just fixed after all these years. I was second in line with a ten pack of beer. There were two people behind the counter. The one girl had to keep helping the other casher with a discount on a hose. We all were there for ten to fifteen minutes. And i was next the hole time. Its been bad for the last few months now. It really used to be run pretty good till now. They don't seem to care. You would think they want it to fail. Notice there is no more surveys on it anymore. I'm bummed i used to spend a 100 150 dollars in there. I hope they get it back on track. If you can't get people in and out of there put a self serve register in there. Get some more help in there and get the stuff put away. Sorry but i used to like that store a lot. And they had good people that cared. Not blaming the new people at all there trying there best I'm sure. I sound mad but I'm not mad i just see so many people shaking there heads and you no they just can't believe the way the...

Everytime I enter the store I am greeted. This location in particular unfortunately always seems to be understaffed. I dont blame the workers there because there are only ever 2 in there at any given time. One handles the register and one always seems to be on the floor trying to put perpetual freight up. If the company could come off a little more to pay a third employee to be there, I feel the taking would be completed more often than not. Therefore I'm not digging through freight boxes to find my aloe water or my kids cereal...etc...So...employees need more help in house for tasking, but the customer experience there is...

I am very upset with Dollar General! The other day I got my grandson a toy they were all in a $10 spot went to check out it was $16. The guy even admitted that they were all in the $10 spot but would not sell it to me for 10. Then today they had these little Runner rugs all-in-one B group 50% off the manager goes back checks acknowledged they were all there with the 50% tag off and would not sell it to me at that price said someone had put them in the wrong place. This is happening more and more with them. They have their sale items marked check your receipt because you didn't get the sale price it rang up...
