Independence at Carter's Station by Pulte Homes — Local services in Columbia

We just bought a new home here a month ago, we were blessed to pay it in full. We had our inspector walk through, which he was amazing. Saw things we missed, sent them pictures and a list of things that must be fixed. We were promised and signed legal document agreements, stating everything will be fixed. The day of closing, we are at a little over a month. And only one thing was fixed. When we reached out to Pulte they place blame on the contractors. You hire them it's just as much your fault as it's theirs. Stop making excuses and fix the issue. Not to mention our driveway has already busted and cracked. From a small pod setting on it. We had a concrete specialist come out. They wrote up an estimate to repair it. Guess wait they told us exactly why it happened. Due to Pulte's hired contractors who poured the driveways. They didn't let the ground underneath the concrete settle, before pouring. So it caused air pockets between the ground and the concrete. Brought that to the Pulte Rep and was basically told it didn't matter if a " heavy truck or suv" would have caused it. They wouldn't repair it. A brand new home and you can't stand behind what you sale. Love the neighborhood and our home. But fair warning to people looking, please please please 🙏🏽. Get your driveway Inspected by a professional before you sign. We have counted at least 12 homes with new driveways since we've moved in. And our neighbors behind us are right at a year and their's has already started cracking. Smh Pulte you have along way to go in valuing your customers. Take ownership, people work hard for what they have. Respect us enough to take pride in what you sale, and be honest. Oh and our air condition unit and fire place was put in wrong so waiting to get those fixed. Love the neighborhood, but please any future buyers get a great inspector. All well and good until you have issues. DO Not trust the build and do not trust the warranty. You will find problems and its unlikely the builder will assume any responsibility. they are throwing these houses together as haphazardly as possible and just hoping you don't find major issues. If you do after signing good luck getting that warranty. They will fight you over every nickel even when they know they are wrong. Worse than dealing with a crooked insurance adjuster. Unless you do not have a choice I would avoid anything Pulte in this area.

In response Your customer service was already well aware of my concerns that they made clear will not be addressed. same thing every time I've tried to deal with them. Will fight tooth and nail over even minor issues. If they don't think you'll take them to court good luck getting anything addressed.
