This job was a remodel and they started kitchen cabinetry in April of 2024. This project was due to water damage in our home that took place in January of 2024. I do not recommend doing work with this company. They don’t take accountability and put blame on our GC. The quality and workmanship is not at par. We hired this company through our general contractor. From the measurements taken by Juan Duenas himself to the quality of the cabinets and the install was horrible. We had to constantly be contacting our GC to have him call the guys out. Juan took measurements of where all cabinets were to be built and installed. First, the area of where the mudroom cabinet was measured wrong and installed incorrectly. When it came to placing the new cabinet it covered our light switch. I told their brother, Sergio and they just brushed off. We had to pay an electrician to move the light switch along with the rewiring and that was $1,000. Then we had to fix the coffee bar cabinet because they installed a piece of crown molding to hold the cabinet door instead of using the correct piece. When I called Sergio he claimed that they had run out of wood and that’s all they had with them at the time. Then we had to call our GC again because they didn’t know how to make cuts or measure correctly for the dog bowl drawer. We also had issues with our island that wasn’t centered correctly, the stove top wasn’t measured correctly either and it covered the emergency cut off switch to the gas. They are very hard to get in touch with, they don’t have an answering machine nor could we leave voicemails. By this point we had exhausted our patience and were tired of waiting on them that we had to hire a carpenter to fix all the work that they didn’t fix. We needed to be back in our home and only had so much time by our insurance. At the end our carpenter fixed all the problems and did a better job than General Cabinetry’s crew.

Be aware of companies that will take advantage of you and claim that they’re a reputable company. Juan also claimed their was a void of our warranty when we didn’t even sign or receive this until after we filed a lawsuit. We even have pictures of everything that they didn’t fix along with all documentation. Don’t hire this...

I paid for custom cabinets and was rescheduled three times, and two of those times were the excuse of their truck broke down. When they finally came, and installed the cabinets they hung outside of my home for the final payment although I informed them that I was going to pay the invoice online as before. As I reviewed their work, shelves were lopsided and I immediately called them to ask them to correct it, I was told that they would come fix the lopsided shelves, but never did, and they stopped taking my calls. So on top of the $5k I paid for custom cabinets, I had to pay my contractor another $700 to fix their mistake. Met with Juan on Sept 2nd for a quote, promised to email the quote immediately after our meeting. Instead went on a 2 week vacation-no response to any of my inquiries for an update via email. On Sept.19th, Juan finally answered his phone and nonchalantly said he was on a much needed vacation; he handles smaller projects, other reps handle the million dollar commercial projects(assuming he told me this to say those jobs took precedence over my small residential project) and would follow up with a quote later in the week.
