I’m so freakin frustrated by Palombo farms market. And, this is not the first time that they have let me down. I don’t know if the employees are just flat out lazy or if they are just telling the customers what they want to hear to get them into the store front, which would make them liars. Last year was a corn issue and today was peaches. Being in north Longmont I called many store fronts looking for peaches to take with us camping. After speaking with a man, confirming they were the right peaches and confirming the price, I told him I was in route. A one hour drive to palombo and the lady at the register states that she just sold the last box at that price but has another box that she can sell me for “double” the price for the same 20lb box which is now more expensive than ANY of the other farms. Now, keep in mind, she had bins and bins of peaches she could have offered up but instead just said “sorry” and dismissed me. I can understand people wanting to support a local farm, but this place was much smaller than I expected and I thought their prices were pretty high - at least on some items. Examples: a 64-oz. jug of cherry juice was almost $19. Small jars of jams, preserves and pickled items were mostly in the $7.50 to $8.50 range. The lady at the counter was very friendly and welcoming, though, which was nice. I came up because I'd read they sold black diamond watermelons, although they had none when I visited. I'd recommend this place only if you live in...

When I asked them about this, they said that I did not store them correctly, it should have been in the refrigerator, and this is the my problem. Although I always buy tomatoes and cucumbers at Sam's club, and they dont stored them in the refrigerator, and let them lay in room temperature. We just wanted to eat fresh cucumbers, but that wasn’t the case. Both the seller and the store owner refused to help me with this. Very...
