Was looking around some websites for a decently priced refurb MacBook since my 2011 Pro finally took a turn for the worst and I needed something to tide me over until I can upgrade to my desired model Pro. I came across Coretek as a 3rd party seller on another site and checked out their homepage and read their reviews. They seemed legitimate and I ended up seeing a better computer at a lower cost directly from them. The price seemed almost too good to be true so I wasnāt expecting much. However, I received my 2014 11ā MacBook Air within 5 business days or so and was super impressed. It stated it was in B grade condition but it took me almost 2 days to realize there were any flaws at all. With the exception of 2 tiny nicks on the bottom corner, the unit was near pristine and running smooth. The battery lasts me almost 2 days with moderate to light use and charges very quickly. This is the third charger I will be receiving from this company because the chargers do not last. I have also had issues with the customer service. Every time I call down there I cannot get anyone to pick up the phone and even with emailing, I cannot get responses back from the employees. Once I sent an email complaining, I got a response back within an hour from an employee apologizing and trying to "resolve the issue". It amazes me that I can get a response within an hour once I sent a complaint but have to wait over a week to get a response on whether I will be receiving a new charger or not. I really had hope with this company because a good friend of mine recommended them to me but I will not be doing business...

I found the Mac tech to be knowledgable, gracious and genuinely helpful. Better than a "genius" at the apple store, an actual human being that will help. Go figure?
Also the front line folk were awesome. From my first call to my arrival they knew what was up at every point.
