While kayaking the contoocook river we were told about this fantastic place with the best meats, sandwiches and beer selection. We padded right up to a dock with stairs and went shopping. I got the most beautiful rib eye in the case (they all were beautiful) grilled it the next day and it was the best steak I've ever had !!! We will definitely be going back ! This is a great neighborhood market. The craft beer and cider selection is large and well curated by the owner. There is always something new in the meat cooler to bring home for the grill, and it's a quick spot to fill up propane as well. The pizza here is a well kept secret, especially if you order a fresh pie from the deli. The owner and staff are pleasant and treat their customers with respect. Take the long way home tomorrow...

Not as friendly as it was during the pandemic. I asked him for a rib eye steak to be cut in half because it was so big and he refused to do it. Claims that no one would buy the other half.
