Years ago I would go sew with my mom and a few ladies at the Hen House. Just a building that belong to Sue. They were all older than me so I became know as Little Chick and they were Momma Hen, Quilter Hen and Hostess Hen. We would gather and have some lunch and snacks. Cut fabric and also sew it back together. Good times back then. Design walls were covered with projects. Reason that I recommend this store is friendliness. In April 2020, I was invited to join Hen and Chicks to play BINGO, so I invited other women to join too. With all that was going on, my dad was taken to the hospital and my mom was at home by herself. Living in Hastings Minnesota and her in Oklahoma.... what could I do? Talked to her every day and kept her spirits up. Well Heidi and the twins have helped us though the tough times. Playing Bingo, finished UFO's and just getting to know what this quilt shop can offer. The staff was so helpful and friendly, which made our time at the retreat THE BEST!
