I’m sure they do great work...if you can get them to do it. I went in to get a quote on a stereo system, which they were very enthusiastic about. The owner put together what could have been a great package. That’s where the good experience stopped. From that point on, they were very unresponsive and never returned phone calls. I had to physically go to their shop to get updates on when the equipment would arrive for install. This happened a few times, to the point where I doubt they even ordered what would be installed. Maybe I wasn’t the type of clientele they cater to since I didn’t want to spend more than a certain amount (but come on, you’re located in CONROE...get over yourselves). After more than a month of waiting for them, I decided to take my business somewhere else.

Read moreI give them a star only for potential. Lakeside Audio could be a good company. They lost a big deal, returning customers- with good faith and recommendations (read the other ratings. I can see how those customers are telling the truth.) The employees are rude negative and untrustworthy. Lakeside Audio can't be trusted. They do not say what they mean. Only thing they say & mean, is when they're being rude-which is [other than] when you're buying something. Thirdly, this company has absolutely no customer care. They have customer-care-less. Finally, where are the owners? Are they aware of this kind of feedback and employee interaction? What's their customer policy? Do the owners make sure it's being expedited? While the cats away...
Read moreI had been a customer since 2010. I guess they must have more business then they can handle or they are going out of business. I'm not sure who the owner is or if they even care. I'll never be back that is for sure. They don't answer the phone when you call. I had to walk in to set an appointment for 2 weeks later and then when I towed my boat in to get some major audio work done they didn't keep any amps in stock to do the job. I just want to try to do my part in putting them the rest of the way out of business if I can. You'd think you were talking to Chip Foose himself.
