My kids have went to this daycare for over a year. We went thru 3 owners, 2 name changes and lots of updis and remodeling to get where we are now but it's been gr8 all the way thru. The present owner Ashley and her husband are young and fun w a fresh hip perspective. Theyve put so much time money and love int9 the facility. The manager Ms. Lisa is amazing w being on top 9f every little thing. She is a woman of her word and I've yet to see even the worst 4 yr old ever dare to disrespect her. She always keeps me in the know w my kids behaviors and she knows and loves my children. I have a severely autistic 8 yr old and I was terrified at the idea of daycare, especially because they aren't equipped for the extras for a special needs student ... But they are so good to my Sadie Lynn. They're patient, accommodating to her needs... ie: they feed the kids dinner every evening, Sadie has a restricted odd diet.. they feed her exactly what she eats, even tho it's not on the menu. And even w my typical 4 yr old, he was acting up bad at the beginning of the year.. most daycares would have kicked him out. They did not. They were patient, hopeful and encouraging. I love this facility and the management. Thank y'all. Don't let the small outside fool you, it's beautiful on the inside and full of love. Lastly they are Christian's.. my children know Bible verses, prayers, and much more. They aren't too forceful but faith is gently instilled into my kids days and it's neat seeing that...
Read moreI recently moved to this area, and based on reviews, I wanted this daycare to be a great experience for my family. Unfortunately, after only two weeks, I had to make the decision to withdraw my 3-year-old son due to a situation that did not align with my comfort level or beliefs.
When I arrived one day to pick him up, I found him wearing a blue princess dress. Knowing that he is not even able to put on his own shirt, it was evident that an adult had dressed him in it. While I understand that he is too young to know any better, as adults, we absolutely do.
I addressed my concerns with the front office and the manager, Ms. Lisa, who explained that staff are not allowed to tell him “no” or redirect him. During that conversation, she chuckled and commented to another staff member, Ms. Kristina, that she thought it was “cute.” The following day, when I called again, Ms. Kristina told me that “there is no law that says he can’t wear a dress.”
While I respect that different people may raise their children differently, I am not comfortable with my son being placed in girl dress-up clothes or in an environment that promotes it. I strongly believe that it starts early, and children can quickly adopt traits and behaviors at a young age. For this reason, I cannot support or continue with a program that does not align with what I consider the right foundation...
Read moreI absolutely love this day care they are so kind and very professional. In my certain situation, I was searching for a daycare in a hurry as my son’s old daycare decided to shut down out of nowhere. My son usually doesn’t like to go to daycare but since he’s been enrolled here he gets super excited to be at Little Texans daycare. If you ask me who I recommend for daycare Little Texans daycare will be my answer. They are...
