Before contacting camp ithiel I was very worried to send my 11 year old daughter to a camp for a week. So, I contacted several camps and none of them gave me peace of mind like Mark did over at Camp Ithiel! He explained everything to me in detail and did not rush me off of the phone, not to mention he was very patient with me because I had a million questions.
Once my daughter actually went to camp ithiel, it was definitely probably harder on me then it was on her but it was still a hard process to drop her off knowing I wouldn’t see her for a week but again the staff at camp ithiel put me at ease that she was in great hands! On the pick up day my daughter cried her eyes out because she did not want to leave.
In conclusion, I am absolutely in love with this camp and I will be coming back next year to bring my daughter....
Read moreMy daughters thoroughly enjoyed this camp. Director Mike was very responsive and reassuring. All of the staff were amazing and accommodating of my kids medical and developmental differences. We started our week anxious as this was new for us, and ended the week with kids promising their new friends we’d be back next year. My oldest daughter is still wearing the “warm and fuzzy” craft friend she made as a necklace daily to feel close to her friends at camp. Read moreI went to this summer camp for 3 years when I was 12 to 15. I loved it. Had many experiences there. Loved it. My favorite thing was if you were caught with your elbows on the table while eating someone called you out you had to run around the dinning room. While they sang a song. It was great.
