D&A Liquidations — Local services in Contiguous United States

Stopped in a few times, almost everything is a return from Costco. I’ve seen a handful of ‘new’ items but literally everything is a return or shipment damage. No big deal, it is what it is and that’s the whole point of this store. So that’s fine.

The problem here is their blatant disdain for customers. Don’t believe me, check out the verbiage on the banners around the store regarding price negotiations. There are 2 memes on a poster on the back of the door (One Dr. Evil & one Tony Stark) or mocking customers who want to negotiate price, along with BOLD ALL CAPS signs saying DONT ASK regarding price negotiation and/or returns. I also overheard one of the employees talking about arguing with a customer. Look, we all know the customer ISNT always right, but you keep that conversation for after the store closes, especially not in front of OTHER customers.

Again, I get it, they are reselling returns & trying to make profit. HERE is my problem; Since this stuff comes from Costco, it’s not hard to price match. Multiple items they are selling that CANT BE RETURNED - DONT ASK (remember the signs) are the same price, if not a few bucks MORE, than Costco, where you could return it if needed. So why would you buy here (unless you just don’t care or don’t know the price of things).

Regardless, there have been some good deals, but the last trip I made in will be my last overall. There are lots of ‘these type stores’ around selling Amazon, Lowes/Home Depot, Bass Pro, Costco returns to find one that doesn’t mind broadcasting their anger of dealing with customers who want to haggle the price. This discount store appears to specialize in pallet liquidations. Most everything is in the box, so you will want to plan time to go through the floor to ceiling stacks of merchandise. Some boxes are hard to read what's inside so they may want to write on the outside where you can read it. I'm a bargain hunter, and this is worth the effort. This is the place to go when looking for discounted items. They have a little bit of everything and the staff are amazing! If you can't find what you are looking for, ask the staff, they know where it is, and they will pull if off the rack for you. If it's heavy or large they will cary it to your vehicle.
