I was about to head to Tempe to spend the weekend with family when my tire sensor read two low tires. So I got out my little electric pump and hooked up the first tire. I filled the tire to the appropriate air pressure amount and went to check the sensor inside the car. No reàd. I messed with the hose a bit and checked again. Nothing. I decided to check the other tire. I hooked it up and filled to the appropriate air pressure amount. Again when I checked, nothing. Long story short, I needed to make sure my tires were ok so I could be on my way. I didn't tell you this earlier but previously there was a totally different tire that was reading low. What I needed was a manual read of the air pressure in my tires. Since I am a new resident living a bit far out in Marana a friend told me about Picture Rocks Hardware. I headed that way. What an amazing store! I didn't have time to "window shop" but I can tell you this, that little store is well stocked! If you need it, I bet they have it! Lol And the help was quick and courteous! It also looked like there were plenty of people working so your wait time would be minimal. I was right. The clerk had me out of there in two minutes flat! Bottom line, a friend made sure my tires were safe, but the job was easier and more reliable because Picture Rocks Hardware had a tire gage and they sold that tire gage to me. This Ace is GREAT! I went in not having a clue how to fix my swamp cooler and by the time I left there I had every part needed and they took the time to explain to me what to do step by step. I went home more confident in the task at hand and was able to do it!! I can't thank the staff enough for saving the day and truly taking the time to care about their customers! You all sure went the extra mile!!!! Also, prices are comparable to other Ace Hardwares as well and although I have only been there 3 times so far, each time they have always had what I needed and the shelves were full and I was asked every time if I needed assistance with anything. These guys have way more than you would expect, and at prices very competitive to the big guys in town. So much so that it's usually not worth a trip into "the pit", especially with Ina Road out of commission. I had a large plumbing job to do and priced out everything at Lowe's. I then took it to Greg at Picture Rocks Hardware and they met the price and had all the materials out here where they are easier to pick up (plus the tax is less here than in town!).
