A friend and I were told they were aerating the holes (on a Sunday). We were asked whether we wanted to play 9 or 18 to avoid the greens keeper punching holes. We decided we'd go for 18 and just play around him. We had to ask for a discount - typically when a course is being worked on and not 100% it's not full price. So we got our $5 discount. We finish the front 9 and notice two foursomes (there were actually more than 8 players) starting on the 10th. We walk in to ask the lady working the pro shop what our options were since it was starting to rain and figure out why she allowed a massive group to cut in on the back 9. She was on the phone and had been on the phone for awhile - assuming it was a personal call. She didn't put the phone down until my friend interrupted her when she replied "yes?" with a irritable tone. We asked for a rain check and were told they don't do that unless it's "really coming down" (it hasn't really let up since we were there about an hour and half later). She told us we could skip ahead of the "double foursome". We head back out to see if a hole would be open. Each hole was being played up until the 14th (with another group on the 15th). Normally we'd just tough it out and wait but the carts there don't have windshields. Basically paid full price for aerated holes, rain (understand that's not their fault but still wouldn't offer a rain check), and poor tee schedule management. If I would have known it was going to be that bad I would've just played at the 9 hole course near where I live to save $38 ($43 without the discount we had to ask for hole...
Read moreNever go to this golf course unless you want to pay to be treated horribly. For Father’s Day we had made two tee times total of 7 people golfing 8 people total, when we have arrived we were told we were not going to be given the amount of carts we were going to need for everybody because we had one rider wether the rider had showed up or not our party we’re still going to be need to have 4 carts in total 2 for each tee time. My father and mother had to leave because they were not going to be allowed to golf at anytime even though we had previously booked the tee times and explained to the women they would walk. While golfing on the first 9 we had then witnessed a group that had 3 carts for 4 golfers. When we had stopped at the club house after the first 9 we had bought drinks and hot dogs from this establishment and less than 90 seconds after we walked out to eat them at the outside tables were physically followed and yelled at that we need to go tee off from the tenth tee which would have been totally understandable if we had not then had to wait on the tenth for the group in front of us to tee off and finish there. If you are going to have a course that is full of muddy fairways and horribly spaced tee times with not enough carts for what you book then you can at least have decent customer service which this place also lacks significantly. If I could give negative...
Read moreGood course. Could use more signage to help find the tee boxes. (...rather than spray painted #'s on path) Decent prices. Lots of bugs due to their marshy ponds. One par 3 with marsh nearly up to the green. I hit a beautiful tee shot right at the pin, but green is not visible due to cat tails in the marsh. Everyone in group giving me high fives and fist bumps. Drive around the marsh (pond?) to the green, but we can't find my ball. Either the ball was stolen by other golfers (not likely, but there was a cart with 2 young men just left of the green when we got there), or I was 5 feet short of the green which left me in the marsh (most likely). I now don't like blind holes where the water hazard goes right up to the green's edge. Otherwise we had a great time...
