Typically the best pizza in town by far. However this weekend when I arrived it appeared the kitchen was being run by literally children (pre-teen not teenagers). As endearing as that may sound as a customer I’m not really interested in spending my money on food prepared by children. And my 30 years in bar/restaurant tells me it’s bad practice and possibly a health and labor violation. I pointed out at checkout (adult clerk) by opening the box that the pizza was much smaller than usual which the clerk replied "it's the same size dough but they (kids) didn’t roll it out big enough" which I replied "yes, and that means less topping and less pizza, you know smaller" which he acknowledged with a shrug and proceeded to take my 16.99 for my large/mediumish pie. It was undersized, under topped, undercooked, over sauced and had been cut multiple times but not all the way through so when a piece was pulled the pie tore apart in the center. A good try for a kid, but on my dime? You have a great spot and nice people there and typically some of the best pizza in the area and possibly the state. And it’s not about a bad pizza, it happens, although lack of consistency is why most kitchens fail. Nor are the kids wanting to be involved in the business troubling, that’s wonderful, in the correct capacity. It’s about allowing this type of questionable food preparation/quality control and the clerk shrugging it off in what seemed a “kids will be kids” explanation. This behavior raises questions on any food handling performed. Safety aside, food is expensive and it’s not worth a second try, not at 17 bucks. What a shame because god is that pizza good when it’s done right. Even the greasy slices that have been in the hotbox way too long are good. Thank you for your time. Reply: Thank you for the reply. As I mentioned it's not about a bad pizza, it happens. I also said if you read fully, it's great to get the kids involved in the proper capacity. If they had a stand selling pizza I would have bought two to support their initiative. I also was out of power and that was going to be dinner. The real issue is when it was brought the attention of the adult in the room he shrugged it off and more or less blamed it on the kids and offered no solution. You viewed the picture of the pizza. Am I wrong to have questioned it prior to purchase? Would you have questioned it? Would you have let it out of the building? The heart of this, as you well know as a consumer, we're tired of being ripped off. Had I gotten home and then saw things I would have taken the good with the bad and maybe tried again. In this case my instinct was correct, I voiced it to the adult staff prior to purchase and was dismissed. I know it's only 17 bucks but if I asked you to take a twenty and throw it away you would look at me sideways. I've trained too many staff to remember and this is a staff issue not a bad pie. I get it, the show must go on, but the clerks response shows their either under trained or just don't care. Thank you for your generous offer but I must decline.

After a weeklong adventure to try and purchase a lawnmower I ended up a mile away from home. I shopped one place that the salesman was absolutely the rudest individual I’ve ever dealt with and hung up on me. He told me didn’t have enough time to deal with me. I only asked him to verify how long the warranty was on the mower he was trying to sell me because he didn’t seem to know. Prices were all about the same and actually Krieger was a little bit less. The marvel was the fact that Robert bent over backwards to make sure I was able to take that mower home today . We wanted to finance it, and filled out the paperwork, when he told us we wouldn’t hear anything back till probably around Tuesday. I asked him it would be possible if we wrote him a check for the unit and if the financing fell through they can cash the check. He was more than accommodating. He said absolutely no problem sir. Mind you this is at 5:30 in the afternoon. I didn’t think customer service like this still existed and I am so happy that I went to somebody local that cared. I won’t waste anytime bad mouthing the dealer that shunned me and I will waste no time telling everybody what a great organization...

I can't say enough about the service I received from the guys from Kreegers. Yes, they are much more than a convenience store. Although I didn't purchase my Husqvarna zero turn mower from them, they fixed my mower immediately, while I waited. The store appears to be a a great place for takeout and convenience items , but the service I received on my mower was amazing. Every other Husqvarna dealer told me their service department was weeks or months behind...not Kreegers. Bobby, Robbie and the boys got my mower fixed same day. Next time I need power equipment of any kind I will inquire here first. And try their pizza and sausages while...
