American Made General Store — Local services in Conway

I have spent around $6000.00 dollars at this store the last few months on different building supplies. I went today and returned 3 boxes of unopened flooring purchased within 30 days and was deducted a "10 percent restocking fee" on my refund when the only stocking that took place was taking them from the counter back to where they set 25 ft away. I also helped the manager carry my 25 boxes through the warehouse to load it onto my trailer the day I bought it bc supplies were in the way and she was unable to use the forklift. It was setting on a pallet ready to go but blocked in. This just left a bad taste in my mouth. It's not about the money but the staff acted like they could not overide at all bc of company policy. I was going to spend all that money back there today and buy an ice cream cone... I am going to need some cabinets and butcher blocks soon but will reconsider now unfortunately. Stopped at this store and was disappointed by the lack of customer service from the female clerk. My wife and I were looking at the clogs but they didn’t have my size. My wife asked for assistance from the female clerk and was treated rudely. Needless to say, we didn’t get the clogs, boots, or the slider bench that we really liked. Just because of that ride clerk.
