Stateline Beverage Depot — Local services in Conway

I drove from over an hour away as I reside in Casco , ME and before I left I checked the hours on the website plus I also called the business to see what the hours of operation was on Saturday, and both advised that they were open until 9pm, which I thanked the lady that answered and let her know that I would see her just before close as I lived an hr away from them. I arrived at the store @ 8:40pm to see all the lights off and the sign flipped to close. Now mind you owners of this business are the owners and operators of this place of business and also live right above the establishment!!! And they are closed early?!?!?! Knowing that a customer was coming from afar as I called first to make sure plus I’m also consider myself a regular customer or at least as much as I can be since it’s not right next door for me to shop at. I would say I visit at least 2-3 times monthly and spend close to $100-$150 each time that I shop at their place of business........ and of course the sign that they provide for customers for their hours of operations literally is a flip sign that states either SORRY WE ARE CLOSED or WELCOME WE ARE OPEN....... absolutely nothing that states the hours of operations. COMPLETE BS!!! WOULD GIVE EVEN LESS THAN ONE STAR! STORE STATES THEY'RE THE CHEAPEST CIGARETTES AROUND. WENT IN TO BUY SEVERAL CARTONS OF CIGARETTES, SWIPED CARD THAT HAD A SIGN STATING IT WOULD COST AN EXTRA $2 BEYOND MY PURCHASE PRICE TO USE THIS PAYMENT METHOD. OK, FINE, PAID AND LEFT. UPON CHECKING OVER THE RECEIPT, THERE AFTER, I FIND OUT IT WAS $2.00 PER CARTON, OVER REGULAR PURCHASE PRICE! WHAT? SINCE WHEN DOES ANYONE HAVE TO PAY TO SWIPE THEIR DEBIT CARD IN STORES TO PAY FOR THEIR PURCHASE! LET ALONE PER A CERTAIN ITEM! NO SIGNS STATING THE PER CARTON EITHER! YEAH PAID AN EXTRA $14 TO USE THEIR DEBIT MACHINE!! WENT BACK LATER TO ASK, WHATS UP WITH THAT EXTRA CHARGE AND THE GUY REPLIED THAT'S THEIR THING, THAT'S WHAT THEY DO... REALLY.. I’ve only been here a handful of times but I won’t be back again. I went in today to buy some beer and put it on the counter. The woman behind the counter asked for my ID which is the first time I’ve ever been carded here, but no big deal. I hand her my ID and she looks it over for awhile and keeps looking at me.
