Heller Orchards has a great selection of apples and apple cider, along with a lot of other great things for sale! We always go to the festival in October. They have so many vendors come out and contribute to the event. Always gotta get a dumpling and cinnamon ice cream, as well as the potato pancakes! Lots of wine/hard cider vendors show up as well. The live music sets the ambience. Chainsaw carvings happen almost every hour! It is very kid friendly with bounce houses, axe throwing (plastic for kids!) and this year they had goat snuggling! Read moreWas home from college for the weekend so thought what a great way to spend the weekend. Checking Facebook and their website nothing stated no pets allowed since my dog has to come with me . Got their at ten saw a lot of people with dogs and figured they were allowed . Upon being there for over an hour a worker informed me no dogs were allowed , no signs where up stating otherwise and when I said about the no signs they then ran around putting up signs . Read moreThis is a family run orchard in Wapwallopen, Pa. They have many different types of apples and they are all in perfect condition. They also grow and sell pumpkins and pears. The prices are very reasonable and decent parking. Take Rt93 south from Berwick, Pa. across the river and look for the signs a mile or so out for the orchard.
