Employees at the spring street location in Cookeville, TN are always very kind and hospitable. Each time I visit the store I feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. I have two children whom can be a little rambunctious at times. Your employees not only overlook their loud noises and occasional wandering feet, but they frequently engage in conversation with my girls and ask how they are when I happen to be shopping alone. I am even more encouraged by the professional way your younger staff carries themselves. This is honestly something one does not consistently encounter at any place of business anymore. I call this "My grocery store". I've been on a budget all my life. Ha ha I was raised a poor girl, & I guess that rubbed off on me as I grew up! Nothing wrong being poor, makes you appreciate what you do have. I've been divorced for about 35 years, never remarried & raised my Son myself. My budgeting has rubbed off him. We have a good life, & people that work at Food Lion are always very nice to us when they see us. My Son has forgotten the savings card at times & they remember him & always use the one they have. I moved here from Florida a few years ago, and it brought back memories — in the 1990s, Food Lion was what Publix is today. This location is right off the main road, making it super convenient, and I have been pleasantly surprised by how affordable their pricing still is.
