My boyfriend brought me here, it was the first time for me and his second. The staff were extremely rude!!! We tried to start at hole 10 (the last time my bf came the front 9 were closed) and some little old guy came up to us and told us we needed to start at hole 1. Okay, no problem, so we go to hole 1 and he comes up to us 2 more times to ask if we’d ever been there before and then he proceeded to tell us that today (Thursday) was the wrong day for him to be teaching me to golf and if anyone else comes up we have to let them go ahead. No one was behind us and we were on our FIRST hole. We paid the same as anyone else and did nothing wrong. There is no reason we should be harassed 3 times before we’ve even started. The old man (who is a ranger I believe) has a serious attitude problem so we left. We will never be back and we’ll make sure no one we know goes back. Waste of money and a trashy gold course at that. I recommend The Golden Eagle or Southern Hills where you can...

Read moreI played this course 3 times in the last week and really tried to like it. Great staff, fairways are for the most part good, greens look good but they are rolling pretty slow. The really not fun part of this course are the lack of recptiveness of the greens. Strike a solid short iron with a great golf ball at what should be a correct distance and in most instances you are rewarded by being 30-50 feet past the pin. I am not sure what is under the grass on the green but they bounce like it is asphalt. Combine this with very thick crabgrass around the greens and it is just difficult to have fun here. It is just downright depressing to hit great iron shots and have them bounce/roll way beyond a normal green. Try to land short and if you short it from the fringe by a foot and you are in the crab grass. I like difficult and challenging courses but this was just...
