This store has drastically deteriorated in so many areas! For the first year things obviously seemed fine but now it stays messy and there is absolutely no customer service. they continue to get rid of associates that display the same attitude of not speaking or talking to customers. I have gone into this location a number of times and now there’s a young lady that either has earbuds in her ears or is on her phone all the time (Bri) but refuses to smile greet or talk to the customers even as they are getting rung up. What a terrible associate she is not acknowledging people standing directly in front of you or saying thank you or you’re welcome when the customer says thank you to her! I would rather drive to family dollar, Dollar tree or Walmart and give them my business ( and this is out of my way by 6-10 miles and I’d be passing dollar general). It seems there needs to be a training program implemented or an assessment test for them to pass on “customer service”! The young lady (Bri) seems she is always miserable or doesn’t like her job. I run a business and it is VERY important to interact with the customers and my entire crew knows this. I have refrained from putting a comment for quite some time but I literally watched her with other customers and it’s the same attitude. If (Bri) or anyone that displays this type of attitude maybe they should look for employment elsewhere that allows this type of customer service! The store only runs 1 register with a line up to 10 people while management or leaders ( not all of them ) sit in the office or are no where to be found. Theres a self check out that I understand is out of service due to “theft” - but why take up this space when there could be another register there? Technically I’d rather deal with a self check out if I’m not getting greeted or thanked by an actual employee cause I’d expect no interaction with a computer. I have participated in as well as watched customers put things down and leave due to the slowness of getting checked out ( up to 10 min wait time ) this store can do better because right now it is a disgrace to have them take up an area in our community especially with the customer service that’s not provided and we spend our money here (well I won’t be for a while)! Like for example everything is always very cluttered here. Not to mention they literally have water leaking in thru parts of the ceiling thru out the store with buckets catching the water coming in from the snow & ice... Also they run outta a lot of things here, & I've been told it's mainly because everything is usually sitting in all the boxes u see waiting 2b restocked in all the aisles you try & walk up & down thru out the entire store. Read moreThis store is less than two minutes from my house. I shop here to avoid large stores and a majority of the time it’s clean and organized. I have not had an issue with any of the employees including the manager Jim. Jim has always greet customers and ask if you need help. When you check out at the register, the employees ask if you found what you needed. The only time this store is trashed, cluttered or looted look; it is on weekends or holidays when the tourist come out here and trash stores.
