Update: We found a trusted jeweler that many people recommend. He didn't ask how much we paid for it and he was able to tell us the worth of the diamond without even looking at the paperwork. That's the kind of customer service we were looking for. Not the one we got here. That jeweler helped us without asking multiple times how much my husband paid for it, like Joel did. The 3 stars are for customer service. My husband got me a bigger diamond for our 10 year Anniversary. He bought it at a reputable store online. We trust them because this is the second diamond he buys there. We came to this place on Saturday to have it appraised and I forgot to bring the paperwork. I came back today and Joel kept asking me how much my husband paid for it. We told him on Saturday that we have 30 days before we can return it. We want to have the diamond appraised before we set it on the ring. He kept asking me how much my husband paid for it. He asked me 3 times! I don't ask my husband how much he pays for my gifts. He made me feel very uncomfortable. Maybe he is just having a bad day or I don't know. He said he "just wanted to help us" but it's none of his business what hubby paid for the ring. The other diamond we purchased at that site I had it appraised in a wonderful jewelry store in Texas, I used to live there. They never asked what we paid for it. They showed me the diamond under the tools that they used. They told me look at the number inscribed on it. They even congratulated me on how beautiful it was. Read moreI know you normally leave a review after you receive your purchase but I am so impressed with this jeweler that I had to let them know and anyone that is thinking of doing business with them that they most definitely should. The customer service goes above and beyond, I was looking for a bracelet that was no longer available to anyone they had and I sent them a text message on a Sunday that was intended to be for them when they opened again on Tuesday but like maybe 15 to 20 minutes later I got a response, on SUNDAY! Then first thing Tuesday morning they texted me with a link for me to pay, I also found they had another piece I wanted which I paid for and then they are mailing both this morning. I honestly don’t plan on shopping anywhere else from now on unless it from them. They do repairs as well. I have bought all kinds of things from this husband/wife operated business and the most pleasing aspect of all of them, is how they take care of you after the sale. A pair of earrings I bought for my girlfriend bent a little bit after a year or two, took them back to Joel, and he replaced them because he sells them with a lifetime warranty. No questions asked. Recently bought a 2.87 ct emerald cut natural stone for an engagement ring, and they will size it for life. Keep it clean. The natural stone certification came back just as he called it. They call to check on you just to make sure everything's okay.
