Avoid LNL Lumber – Terrible Service

I tried giving LNL Lumber a chance, but both of my experiences were a complete disaster.

First, I sent them a detailed list of common materials. Instead of quoting the correct items, they kept sending me the wrong products. After several frustrating back-and-forth emails—even sending photos—I finally gave up.

My second attempt was worse. I contacted Travis, the so-called manager, for a simple quote on T-111 siding and primed spruce. These are not special-order items. I was told they’d contact their supplier. A week later? Nothing. When I followed up, Travis said he was “waiting for the supplier to call him back.”

When I asked to speak with the owner, Travis refused and sent me a snarky email telling me to “come down to the store” — as if intimidation is good customer service.

Bottom line: Don’t waste your time. Go to Builder FirstSource. They have the materials in stock, respond quickly, and deliver for free. LNL Lumber, on the other hand, is unprofessional, unresponsive, and...

This place has a good selection for an outlet store. Sometimes you do need to dig a little bit, but I think that's a testament to how many other folks come through there more than anything else.

They sell your standard dimensional lumber and ply, but also have decking materials, hobby boards, exotics sold by the board foot, and a bin of off cuts you can rummage around. They also have a selection of live edge cuts.

It can be a little intimidating to go here for the first time, but the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. They are willing to answer questions you might have, but will also just let you browse in peace which I can appreciate.

This is definitely my preferred lumber supplier...

Amazing lumber yard. Best prices in town, and even competitive with big city lumber providers. Very nice and helpful, which isn’t always the case at a lumber yard. All of the lumber inside is priced! And their selection of hardwood great. Easily 20+ options available with plenty to pick from. And the dimensions available (especially for Pine) are plentiful. Could not recommend this...
