Extremely high prices and meat that spoils in 2 days. I have shopped here as a convenience being a few miles closer to my home. I have lost count of the number of times I have purchased fresh poultry and it either already be ruined or spoil with 48 hours. It does not seem to even matter if the sell by date is 5 days ahead it still spoils quickly. I try to keep the poultry in the rear of my fridge as that is the coolest spot due to where the evaporator duct is that blows the cooled air into it. I've learned if you're not cooking it the day it was purchased then you better go ahead and freeze it. Like I had mentioned before I've bought poultry and red meat that already had a spoiled smell the day of purchase. So on to the frozen section of the store. I dont know if their freezers go through automatic defrost frequently or not. I do know any frozen vegetables you purchase will be freezer burned with frost covering them. This makes for a terrible taste after steaming them. Speaking on the frozen vegetables, their price is triple that of Aldis and around double that of WalMart. It was $3.45 for a 12oz bag of frozen broccoli that had severe freezer burn. No wonder the store almost went out of business recently. I do hope the new owner straightens the place out as a grocery store like that is a staple for...

Read moreConvenient for the locals. I get teenagers need to work. But if you are going to hire them at least train them properly. You are setting their future work ethics/standard and it isn't a good one. You are paying them to have another playground. They talk to customers as if they are at a high school football game. No how are you, did you find everything ok, nothing professional. Always sitting at the registers, on their phones even when they are ringing you up. It's disrespectful. If you are going to hire teenagers. Train them for their future employer because if not they are in for a rude awakening when they change jobs and can't do what they do here at that other job because they have standards. You are not doing them any favors by allowing them to do...
