This lovely state forest offers picnic areas, numerous trails, beautiful vistas and chances for viewing wildlife. I have seen black bear, deer, porcupines and coyotes along with many birds, reptiles and amphibians. No restrooms, but pit toilets are scattered throughout. No playgrounds. There is a paved road that goes from the entrance to the summit where beautiful sunsets can be seen while looking into NY, CT & MA. There are a few dirt roads only accessible in the summer.
