Monteray Shores — Local services in Corolla

We stayed here as a guest in one of the houses. The facilities and amenities are very nice but I have to say the red tape to use the boat ramp is annoying. You have to go get someone to unlock the chain across the boat ramp during the very brief business hours of off season. Then you have to lock up as soon as you pull the trailer out. Repeat the process all over to pull the boat out, and remember to get back to the ramp with your boat before whatever the oft-changing hours are that day or you'll be locked out. Very rude older ladies you have working the club house. Tried to rent multiple kayaks for our family and instead of helping us sent us away saying no golf carts allowed on property even though parking lot was completely empty. No mention of any golf cart rules on your website. Lady with short red hair was so rude and just continued to swing away on her porch swing doing nothing, we will never be back to Monteray again.
