A great rock shop with knowledgeable owners. I've been to a lot of rock shops across the country, and this one definitely rises to the top. They have a large selection with items for every interest and price point. This is a true rock shop. I especially liked their Coprolite and Dinosaur bone specimens, even though I tend to be more of a mineral and shiny object type of girl! As an author and illustrator who writes about easy to learn science, I'm always on the lookout for specimens to use in my illustrations and rock talks. I was able to purchase great pieces of Coprolite and dinosaur bone for less than $30.00 that will be the perfect companions to my new book, "Robots from Outer Space Learn About......

This shop has a great number of cut stones, polished stones, stone slabs and collections of rocks outside sold by the pound. I wish I could have spent more and picked up a few more slabs. A jaw-dropping variety of forms, shapes, colors, and sizes of all of the "rocks and fossils of my dreams"! Sharon helped me find a Dino bone cab for a friend to make a bolo tie out of.
