The only place I'll go for sweet corn and pumpkins. Plus I go early for other produce too but the corn is my favorite. Then when it's pumpkin season you can take a tractor/hay ride out into the middle of the farm to grab your own pumpkins. It's a lot of fun. The best part about this family owned farm is the people. Everyone is sOooO nice (they always recognize me and my wife) and so friendly. It's like you're buying tomatoes, potatoes and squash from your neighbors. But I mean the neighbors you like, not that one down the block that nobody can stand. Go to this place but leave some corn...

Well marked and has easy access off of Lincoln Hwy (Rt 38). There was a great selection of fresh veggies, plants and jarred items. The sweet corn was in and it was awesome. The family that runs it are great people, very friendly, and helpful. I was visiting from out of state and they advised me how to keep the corn fresh so it would get back to Texas. Used to go here all the time when I lived up that way. The fall is a great time to visit for their pumpkins and activities. Nice to stop and see that it's getting bigger but hasn't lost that...

went to the farmers market in davenport yesterday and this lady Elizabeth or whatever her damn name. was very unapproachable. i told her how i had about 10 jars of her delicious barbecue sauce and salad dressing and how i enjoyed her spicey sweet pickles/peppers and she didn't thank me or say one word to me because i was black. but don't worry uI will never ever purchase your product again and will definitely spread the word! you are one evil spirit! If i could rate you a -0 to the 10th power...

Awesome afternoon at Yaeger’s! Our first time there did not disappoint. Kids loved the free play area and hayride to the pumpkin patch (both are weekends only). Definitely enough to keep little ones busy for quite a while, for free. We didn’t buy pumpkins today, but according to others on our hayride the pumpkins are incredibly reasonably priced! We plan to make this our go-to place next year. Cute little store with lots of homemade goods (jams, sauces, baked goods, etc), apples, gourds, and more.
