This is probably the first review I've ever done negative! I firstly want to say there were some very nice staff but then we get to the doctor and that's a different situation. So I went in today (Christmas) for urinating blood & stomach pains/kidney pain, as I've been dealing with kidney issues the last month and even was hospitalized in this exact hospital on 12-19-24, for 2 days for care due to this. I just started feeling like it was to the point I needed to go in and be seen again as I felt worse than when I was discharged. I had testing done, and this doctor's diagnosis was "I had "chronic back pain." Where does this diagnosis fit anywhere in with what I'm experiencing. He even tried convincing me it wasn't my stomach that hurt it was my back, I kept saying then why does my stomach hurt? He continues to say you need to see a doctor for your back and take muscle relaxates. At this point, I'm so confused and even had a nurse come in to ask questions about this. She just says the catscan didn't show anything in my stomach abnormal, so just because of that reasoning it means this doctor just diagnoses random diagnosis because he didn't see anything visible in my stomach so he moves onto him conviencing himself that it's all just "chronic back pain"? Disappointing would be an understatement! PLEASE MAKE THIS...
Read moreI recently underwent gallbladder surgery at Coshocton Hospital, and I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional care provided by Dr. Zamora and his team.
From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly, offering clear directions and setting a positive tone for my visit. Dr. Zamora's honesty and thorough communication before and after the surgery reassured me, making the entire process more manageable.
During the procedure, the team went above and beyond by identifying and removing an unexpected cyst in my diaphragm without the need for a second surgery. Their professionalism and commitment to patient well-being were evident throughout.
I want to express my gratitude to Alex, the anesthesiologist, who confidently addressed my concerns about anesthesia, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
Despite having to travel 1.5 hours to reach the hospital, the level of care and the positive atmosphere made it entirely worth the journey.
In summary, my experience at Coshocton Hospital was marked by compassionate care, a supportive team, and the expertise of Dr. Zamora. I'm now recovering comfortably at home, thankful for the outstanding medical care I received.
Thank you to everyone involved in making my experience so...
Read morejust came back from the ER and i went in with very severe pain that i had been in for weeks and it had recently gotten worse and when i came out i was in severe pain and in TEARS! Since when is the er for life threatening cases only? this is what the dr. that looked at me told me. i felt bad enough from the pain and then to be dismissed like i was wasting his time, which by the way couldnt have been even 10 min. literally, he prescribed me a pill that is a muscle relaxant that i told at least one or two others before i saw him that i wasnt suppose to take according to my regular dr. because i have been severely enimic .and how does he know if my pain wasnt from a life threatening problem? and by the way if my life is ever in a life threatening way i will never go or call and ambulance to go the coshocton er or the hospital in general. because i would rather die in the comfort of my own home then to be subjected to that kind of insignificance by a dr or anyone else at coshocton memorial. p.s. on the release form i signed to be discharged it gave this particular dr's name but it didnt even have dr. after or before and actually anywhere near his name so how do i know he wasnt the janior? if to do over i would have preferred...
