Today, I was scheduled to volunteer at River Rock Ranch for an event, and I'm honestly still reeling from what I witnessed. I was deeply disappointed by the disrespectful and antagonistic treatment of Tim Matt’s female employee. I know her as an exceptional and highly skilled event planner and fundraiser, and it was incredibly disheartening to hear she was treated so poorly.
A grown man, presumably someone in a leadership position, repeatedly yell at and berate her, directly addressing her with the dismissive and frankly offensive phrase “peace out,” is appalling. This wasn't just a minor disagreement; it was a clear display of disrespect that created a hostile environment. This behavior is not only unacceptable but also deeply unprofessional.
I have known this individual for many years, and she was a valuable asset to River Rock Ranch, the best they could ever hope to have advocating and passionate about the horses and kids. It’s appalling that her expertise, dedication, and compassionate nature have been so blatantly disregarded and, frankly, abused.
