I like the course, but I don't like the way it is run. No instructions are given about the course for the day at time of check-in, carts & pace of play. No starter, no ranger, do not enforce pace of play (don't care about pace of play), and allow walkers. This is not a walking course, it is a cart only course. Young staff do not know what they are doing and what they are talking about. Staff never left from behind the counter in the pro shop the entire time I was there. No staff on the golf course the entire time I was there. Golf course needs a net between the driving range and the third hole. Too many range balls on hole #3 makes it hard to find your own ball. Brent Tree Golf Club (Owner) reply to this review was, "We're glad our manger was able to speak with you after your round." What does this mean? What's your point? Just because he spoke to me doesn't mean anything. He still didn't do anything or help me. It didn't matter and it didn't make a difference. Who cares if no action was taken or nothing done...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had an early tee time last week. We waited until after the tee time, but no employees showed up so we left. I called and left a message. They called and said they had an issue that caused them to be late and asked us to give them another chance. We gave them another chance today and had an early tee time. Once again, our tee time came and went and no employees showed up. Just when we were about to leave a guy showed up and said they had another issue and were running late again, he couldnāt help us but said the pro would be coming in a while. I canāt comment on whether the course is good or not because I never got a chance to play it because they canāt seem to show up on time. I wouldnāt recommend taking a chance on playing at this course since they might not show up. UNBELIEVABLE! That is no way to run any business. I will stick to courses in the area where employees...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBent Tree is under new ownership and it shows. This course has always been one of the top layouts in the Omaha Metro area; now its one of the best conditioned. Greens have been restored to exceptional condition. This is not a parkland layout with big trees, lush fairways and manicured sand traps. Bent Tree is a links course with native grass and firmer and sometimes unevenly mowed fairways. Its more in the mold of Prairie Club, ArborLinks and Ballyneal, but without the long road trips. The par 3's at Bent Tree are each different and each exceptional, and holes 6, 7 and 8 rival any three-hole stretch in the Metro area. Holes 1, 6, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 17 look like they leaped off a Bandon Dunes calendar. I recently heard the new owner is looking to make some changes to the layout. My response, don't change a thing. In its current condition, this may be the most fun course in the...
