It’s not, “what can I say about Wildcat Mansion”? It’s what can’t I say about it! It is beautiful, intriguing and mysterious just to mention a few! My daughter just got married there yesterday! I literally can’t find all the words to tell about the experience! Jon, (the owner) is amazing! He’s a genuine, down to earth, creative person, and has made an event venue beyond any other! AMAZING PLACE!!!!! We stayed for 2 nights in this gorgeous historical mansion beaming with charm. Built in the 1900s with beautiful craftsmanship including solid oak paneling, original stained glass, fireplaces in every room, and beautiful cabinetry. Each room is decorated with a design eye with period antique pieces and vintage touches. Best of all, the owner (Jon) takes great pride in the history and restoration of a gem of a place. He is warm, welcoming, and full of stories and documentation of the special place in history. I recently had the opportunity to explore the Wildcat in Franklin in Oil City, and I must say it's a hidden gem worth discovering. The property is small yet beautiful, providing a charming atmosphere for various events. However, one suggestion I have is to consider providing a map for visitors, especially when events are held at the manor.
