Saums Market — Local services in Crawford Township

Oh, no! I just pulled the last of my Saums bratwurst from the freezer. Time for a road trip before winter gets here. A friend and i found Saums almost 2 years ago totally by chance. Intrigued by their claim of "Ohio's best bratwurst", we decided to check it out. We've been making the trip from Lorain County every few months since, to stock up our freezers. Brats, bulk sausage, smoked chops, etc, all a hit with family and friends. Just wish I lived closer so I could check out the daily lunch menu....

We frequented this place a lot as a kid, stopping in for a bratwurst on Sundays after church. Haven't been in there for years. Nice place inside with decent selections from meat, cheese, beer and etc. Got a pound of brats which came out to roughly 4. A little pricier than I normally pay at Kroger, but hoping they are good once...

They claim to have the best bratwurst; it's definitely right up there. Great little store with a super friendly staff. They have a great selection of fresh and frozen meat. They also sell all kinds of sauces, seasoning, soup mixes and related stuff. They also have a decent selection of beer.. You definitely can't go...
