German Specialty Imports — Local services in Credit River

This is not my first time ordering from German Specialty Imports. First one was the out of stock orders, I let it pass. But this one recently gets me, I spent total of $46 for Edelweiss plants that came out barely alive. The plants weren't packed well. So when I received it at first, I thought I can save it but it was dead the next day. I reached out but Erika didn’t get back to me. I’ve wanted to give this plant to my Austrian in-law. She is away from her homeland so I wanted to give her Edelweiss plants for her bday. I sent you an email but never heard anything from you Erika. No apology, no refund nor explanation, nothing. Clearly, the way you sent the plants are careless. If you are going to post these plants online for sale, you should know Atleast how to secure the shipment. I’ve ordered plants online and this one was the saddest plants I’ve seen. Barely alive! Next day dead. Extremely disappointed but...

My husband needed something to wear for a small Oktoberfest gathering. We made an appt during the week and it was just the 3 of us in Erika’s shop. (Wearing our face masks of course!). There was everything from T-shirt’s to leather lederhosen/checkered shirts/wool hats. He decided on a nice quality shirt with faux suspenders which is fine for a backyard party. There was a colorful selection of dirndls, blouses, & aprons that are JUST like the ones I saw when I bought mine in Munich. German groceries and many lovely gift items in her shop too! I’d recommend her store for authentic Oktoberfest outfits & for Christmas shopping or just to pretend you went to Germany without having to get on an airplane! ...

This shop has the BEST customer service! Erika is the owner, and she actually answers the phone and my millions of questions. She was so patient and helpful with sizing, ordering, looking for more of the product I wanted. This is one of the only stores in the US you can order not just Dirndls, but also Mieders. Mieders are amazing because you get a great festival look that you can wear with your OWN jeans! Great for travel and when it’s fall in Germany because I find it a bit cold.
