Stella's Adventures — Local services in Crescent City

There are not enough words to express how amazing an experience we had with Harry from Stella's Adventures while whale watching! I booked the trip, knowing it was unlikely we would see a whale due to the season, and yes, we saw no whales, but it was still worth every single cent.

From the very beginning, Harry was welcoming, fun, and really informative about the region. It was an absolutely perfect day - clear blue skies and smooth waters. We learned so much about the area and had the opportunity to ask as many questions as we had, with great responses from Harry, including amazing recommendations that really beautifully shaped our trip to Crescent City (such as where to star gaze!). Harry was so attentive to our interests and needs throughout the adventure, adjusting the trip based on how we were all doing and what grabbed our interests the most. Then the bonus of the trip was Harry taking the time to really explore the coastline near the harbor, where dozens of sea lions and seals rested! Our family is in Crescent City for vacation and wanted to do some up close whale watching. We went out with Harry and Rick, and couldn't have been happier with our trip! It was really nice that the boat was the perfect size for a personal group where we could get to know the guys and joke around. We loved hearing the history of the area, and learning how closely knit the community is. Harry was just as enthusiastic about seeing whales as we were, and you can tell they both love what they do! We saw 4-5 whales, and though we couldn't get up close every time, Harry was awesome at trying to get us the best views possible! These guys are nothing short of AMAZING! My bestie and I had a blast with them! I was surprised by this whale watching trip by my fiancé and bestie for my birthday and these guys heard about it and made it extra special for me. They are very knowledgeable of the area and it’s history. They are very down to earth people and made the trip extra fun. They felt like family by the time we were done:) We saw so many whales and whale spouts that we lost track of how many! Lots of whale tail moments, which are the best!
