Okay, this owner thinks he's pretty slick. I frequented the store on a regular basis when he first changed it over to Chestnutty Bargains. I bought a variety of things from throw pillows to table and chairs and lighting. Very very reasonably priced. What he is doing now is marking his items 3x of what they are worth. Then he is putting 50% off stickers on to show you are getting a big bargain which is probably what you would have paid for it in the original store. You are not a wise old man anymore. I caught on to your tactics immediately. Everybody else will too. You are shooting yourself in the foot. It is time for you to retire. I will never stop by again. And lastly ; fix your effing parking lot. I thought I broke the rear axle of my car when I pulled out from the big ditch at the telephone pole that you can't see until you're on top of it. I was happy about the place until their customer bathroom was out of order. I had stopped in there to buy lunch for work. Their customer bathroom was out of order and I had to pee so bad I thought I was going to pee myself and asked them if there was another bathroom I could use, (because you know everybody usually has another bathroom that the workers use). Even explaining my distress to the older female cashier didn't warrant me using the workers bathroom. I explained to her that I stopped in to buy something but that I had to go to the bathroom before I did that, and it was very irritating that she misunderstood me, saying oh you don't have to buy anything but we don't have a bathroom for you to use. It's ok I did get some really good buys there. Be careful of buying anything in a box . The stuff I bought that wasn't in a box was fine. The cereal, oatmeal, graham crackers , pancake mix, cocoa no matter what the date had a funny old taste. It also upset my guts. I bought 2 small steaks I'm still debating whether or not to eat them. The produce didn't even look good enough to buy. I was going to try deli items nobody was slicing maybe I was better off not getting. So it's good for dairy things packed in a bottle or plastic bag brown sugar was fine, ginger- ale , pretzels oil, vanilla. All good. It's discounted for a reason...
