Called late April/early May to set up inspection for my septic system. Two men came out Friday, May 6, 2022, opened tank and stated needed pumping. I explained I had set up appointment for "inspection and estimate" for $150.00 fee. After contacting the office, I was told by a gentleman that he would stop on his way home and check things out. Someone came by the next day, Saturday, 5/7/22. Verbally, stated several things that would need to be done, including moving electrical connections, which was confusing. He implied I would receive an estimate "first of the week". Young lady called Tuesday, 5/10/22, to give me information for financing. I had not received an estimate and explained that I needed that information first. After numerous calls and each time being told "he was reviewing my information and would be calling me". As of today, June 13, 2022, I am still waiting for a return call. There is no way I could refer anyone to this company. If you are too busy to accept a job, say so and let the customer contact someone else. This is without doubt an example of the worst customer service I have experienced in 50+ years. What an exceptional service experience! As proprietors of a cleaning company, we place great emphasis on the significance of customer service within a business framework. However, Roger and Grant Septic Services surpassed our expectations. Having previously engaged another company to "empty" our septic tank last year, we found their service to be hastily conducted, lacking thoroughness but not emptying our tank fully. After less than a year, our tank required attention once again. Today (Sunday), we contacted Roger and Grant Septic Services at approximately 3:30 pm, and their employee Jacob, promptly arrived by 4:00 pm. Not only was their service remarkably swift, but Jacob also demonstrated commendable expertise and amiability. We are unequivocally committed to continuing our patronage of their services and recommending them to all of our customers. Would never recommend. We had some plumbing issues and were under the impression they covered more than just septic services. We called and told them our problems and they never once clarified that they old offer pumping the septic tank. Told us they would try to get someone out the next morning but never gave us an exact time. They showed up the next morning. Didn’t knock on the door or try to call us. Instead they saw the need to go ahead and dig up our yard to pump our tank. They never got consent from us to do this. And when we confronted them they simply told us they could dump everything back in the tank and fill the hole (this was after they were halfway done). So we said whatever go ahead and finish.
