Americold Logistics — Local services in Crete

I got to this place at 9:27AM... My appt time was set for 11:00AM. The logistics told me to come in early so I did. The guard shack staff was beyond nice and helpful. It's 7:10PM now, I am still not loaded. The staff inside told me that once they gather all my pallets they will start, well they did start and were doing a great job for a few minutes and now its been two hrs from when they have started.... I don't understand what is the point of an appt at this facility....... WHEN I GO TO AN ACTUAL MEAT FACTORY COMPANY I AM LOADED FAST, AND I AM ON MY WAY. I ASKED THE GUY INSIDE IF THEY PACKAGE IT HERE HE TOLD ME NO. SO IT TAKE I GUESS ALL DAY FOR THEM TO FIND A FEW PALLETS AND PUT THEM ON THE TRUCKS....

NEVER AGAIN COMING HERE, CAN'T PAY ME TO TAKE ANYMORE LOADS FROM THIS PLACE.

Had a opening between midnight to midnight. First they made an issue out of half full refer tank even though I wasn’t dropping my trailer and had to make 4 phone calls to find someone to OK that. Then had to call to confirm they were accepting live loads today. Apparently they didn’t know I was coming today. 3 hours before getting a door. 2 hours have gone by and still waiting for them to start unloading me.

Security staff were polite and helpful except making an issue about refer tank not at 3/4. Office staff not so much.

Want to get your 10 hour break in while waiting to unload, this is the place!!!

And now going on 6 hours since I was given a door and still waiting for them to unload it.

Checked in at 12:30 PM Door at 3:30PM Started unloading me at 10:30 PM

10 hour...

❌⛔️🛑If i want to rate this business lower than zero i would but google won’t allow me to do that, better to stay away from this place all i can say to my fellow drivers. If you want it to come here just prepare to get you on dock at-least after 18-20 hours doesn’t matter you have an appointment. Because they don’t care your appointment, even you are on dock another 10-12 hours of getting loaded, then last step to get your paperwork which will take another 5-10 hours. So basically you will waste here 30-40 hours where tou can reset your cycle of hours. You will get a brand new cycle from here. Stay away...
