We have been coming to the Brown's Family Farm Market since I was a little girl. I have brought my daughters since they were little and now they are teens. This year I brought my four year old nephew. The festival grows and improves every year and this year was no exception. I loved all the reorganization and new activities for the kids. I appreciated the little barrel ride was affordable. The hayride seems a little high at $6 but I understand fuel prices are probably the reason. The little pony ride was a also a little steep at $5 for the amount of time they get to ride but I hope the owners spend some of the money pampering and giving those sweet little ponies a spa day after they walk in circles for hours and hours. That would make the $5 worth it. 🙂 The playground area is absolutely AMAZING!!! So many cute photo ops and its obvious a lot of love and care go into all of the displays around the farm. We always ADORE seeing the animals. It's a highlight for us every year. Thank you so much for such a wonderful memory making experience that families can enjoy for generations! We will...
Read moreThis is a great place to take the family to go pick pumpkins, hayrides, corn maze, bonfire. Just an all-around way to enjoy day off with the family. Also have good selection and prices on all fresh vegetables, select fruits and many different things through their store. And I also need to say they have an extremely honest staff. I was up there this weekend enjoying some time with the family and lost my phone I left contact information with the girls at the counter and within an hour's time I got a call where someone had found my phone. It's amazing in this day and age for somebody to return something instead of stealing it. So thank you to all of the staff and the Brown's family Market for returning my phone and creating awesome memories for me and my family...
Read moreI love this family-run market and there's something to do in Spring, Summer and Fall!
They have a small animal pen (horses, pygmy goats, bunnies) and a lots of play areas for kids. Outside in the warmer weather are every kind of plant you can imagine - lemon verbena, chocolate mint, marjoram, succulents, house plants, ferns, fruits, vegetables, etc.
Inside there are Amish specialties like jarred pickles, roll butter, fry pies, fresh vegetables and fruits. I picked up $1 bags of fresh arugula, $.60 sweet bicolor corn, potting supplies, and farmhouse decor.
In fall, they have a pumpkin patch and all the autumn festivities you can imagine.
The prices here are very reasonable, you support a local family run business, and you can't get fresher or...
