Landmark of Rayne — Local services in Crowley

First thing I was very pleased of how clean the place was and there were no bad smells in any area that I went through. The food looked so good I wanted to eat along with the patients. Every staff member I encountered while I was there were very nice and helpful. Several staff came up to me to introduce themselves and tell me I could on them anytime day or night. I'm very pleased with everything they have to offer. And I'm confident my husband is being taken care of as best that anyone could. He is totally blind, can not walk on his own an can be difficult at times but they are more than patient and kind to him. Thank you to all staff...

Poor staffing is a regular problem. Don’t bother asking the “Nurse” a question about your loved one, because they NEVER know the answer! And there is no documentation of changes in a Resident’s condition. Residents might go days without a bath d/t NO communication between staff members and there are no consequences for staff when they don’t do their job. Overall, this place is an absolute nightmare, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I gave them one star because that’s the lowest rating...

Relative and room are dirty. Room smells like sewage. Was told housekeeping did not have enough workers. Nurse of the day (August 6, 2022) would not check on relative even though he was in distress. Said Nurse practitioner told her that relative would have to go to ER or wait until Monday afternoon for meds that were prescribed before anyone would check on him. Aides are good to relative, try to help him as much as they are allowed. I am a senior citizen, and I would not want to live...
